The news

I’ve accepted a position at a local Montessori school. I’ll be spending a bunch of time at training this summer and next summer and it’s going to be a lot of work but I think that it will be good.

I officially signed my new contract last week and Chris personally delivered it for me during his lunch break (isn’t he nice?). I officially turned in my resignation yesterday. I have been packing and seem to have way more stuff than I remember. That’s really ridiculous though because I packed all of this stuff last year and unpacked in the new classroom this school year and there just shouldn’t be this much stuff. I’ve even decided to leave all kinds of stuff behind and it’s still too much stuff. I don’t know what I am going to do with all of it. My new classroom is much smaller than the one I have now. Oh well. I’ll figure it out.

I feel like I should celebrate but… I just can’t, I guess. It’s bitter sweet and exhausting. I will not have much of a break this summer.
