I needed to read this right now. I’m starting to piece quilt tops again and have very little skill but lots of enthusiasm. Let me restate that: my greatest attribute is enthusiasm; I don’t always have the skills to complete a project that looks the way I’d envisioned it. Reading this link reminded me that there was a time when I couldn’t: read; add, subtract, multiply, or divide; drive; speak any language other than English; speak English; type (or keyboard); understand why people would find dogs such satisfying companions. . . etc. However, now I do believe I will become a competent quilter (and all of those other things I once thought impossible). Thanks for reminding me of that possibility
